The 10 and 15-yard include 1 ton, the 20-yard includes 2 tons, the 25-yard includes 2.5 tons, the 30-yard includes 4 tons, and the 40-yard includes 5 tons. Delivery within 20 miles of Brookfield is free. Extra weight is billed at $0.10 per pound ($200 per ton).
Is there a delivery fee? +
Delivery within 20 miles of Brookfield is free. For locations 20–35 miles away, a travel fee of $100–$150 applies. For 35–50 miles, the travel fee is $150–$250. Final travel fees may vary depending on accessibility, jobsite conditions, and route efficiency.
Do you provide boards for driveway protection? +
Yes! We offer optional site protection — boards can be placed under the dumpster wheels to help protect your driveway. Just let us know when you book and we'll take care of it.
Where will the dumpster be placed? +
Dumpsters are typically placed on your driveway or a flat, accessible area on your property. We need enough clearance for our truck to safely deliver and pick up the container. If you need placement on a public street, you may need a permit from your town — we can advise you on this.
Do I have to pay sales tax? +
Sales tax does not apply to residential homeowners using the dumpster for personal household cleanouts. Sales tax applies to contractors, businesses, and commercial projects as required by Connecticut state regulations.
3 What You Can & Can't Dump
What can I throw away in the dumpster? +
Accepted materials include: household junk, furniture, yard waste, construction debris, demolition debris, wood, drywall, cardboard, paper, light landscaping debris, and general non-hazardous waste.
What items are NOT allowed? +
Prohibited items include: tires, asbestos, wet paint, oils, fuels, propane tanks, batteries, hazardous materials, medical waste, electronics, and flammable liquids. If prohibited items are placed in the dumpster, additional disposal fees may apply, pickup may be delayed, or the container may not be serviced until materials are properly removed.
What about concrete and heavy materials? +
Concrete, brick, asphalt, dirt, and other heavy materials require special approval and separate pricing due to material density. Contact us to discuss your project and we'll provide a custom estimate.
Can I put yard waste in the dumpster? +
Yes! Yard waste and light landscaping debris are accepted. However, keep in mind that soil and dirt can be very heavy, which may affect your weight allowance. Give us a call if you're planning to dispose of large amounts of heavy material so we can recommend the right size.
4 Junk Removal
How does junk removal pricing work? +
Our junk removal pricing is based on the amount of space your items occupy in our removal container. You only pay for the space you use. Single item/minimum load starts at $150, 1/4 load is $300, 1/2 load is $600, 3/4 load is $900, and a full load is $1,200. Pricing includes labor, loading, transportation, and proper disposal. Final pricing may vary depending on material type, weight, stairs, distance from loading area, or special handling requirements.
What items can you remove? +
We remove a wide range of items including appliances, household junk, furniture, mattresses, refrigerators and freezers, televisions, exercise equipment, electronics (e-waste), recreational equipment, BBQ grills, pianos, hot tubs, tires and rubber materials, and yard waste. We also handle office cleanouts, renovation debris, foreclosure cleanouts, storage unit cleanouts, and scrap metal removal.
Do I need to be home for junk removal? +
We prefer that someone is home to walk us through what needs to be removed. However, we can arrange for removal without you being present if you provide clear instructions and access to the items beforehand.
5 Light Demolition
What light demolition services do you offer? +
We provide selective light demolition services for residential and small commercial projects. Common projects include interior tear-outs, cabinet removal, flooring removal, drywall removal, and small renovation demolition. Larger projects may be coordinated through our extended service network. Contact us to discuss your project and receive a custom estimate.
6 Pricing & Payment
Are there any hidden fees? +
No. We believe in transparent pricing with no hidden fees. The price you're quoted at booking is the price you pay. The only additional charges would be for exceeding the included weight allowance ($0.10 per pound / $200 per ton), additional rental days ($25 per day), travel fees for extended service areas, or disposal of prohibited materials.
What payment methods do you accept? +
We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods through our secure booking system. Payment is typically due upon completion of service.
What is your cancellation policy? +
Cancellations made at least 24 hours before scheduled delivery receive a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours may be subject to a cancellation fee. No-shows or refusal of delivery at the time of arrival will be charged the full delivery fee.
